I bought a LCD display from cooltek. 4x20!!
My display is only bright and I dont get any text. I dont know if I have to have a driver or something to get it to work and I have connected it to the parralell port!!!!!!!! THANKS

I don't speak much German, but it looks like the display is ready to connect to the parallel (printer) port. If it is not already wired with a parallel port connector, you will need to solder your own cable and connector - instructions here (use the first circuit).
You need to install software like LCD Smartie to drive the display. In the Smartie display configuration, choose HD44780 as the display type. The other settings will probably be OK. I think you will have to install the "port95nt" driver too - I don't use the parallel port, so I don't know a lot about using Smartie with it. See here for instructions.
