problemas with speedfan and or smarty

Post by MeduZa »

Hello, Speedfan put my CPU at 100% and froze all the system after aprox 1 hour of work (really I don't know how many time but is aprox 1 hour):(

Someone with this problem?
is the smarty plugin or fanspeed?

thanks

I can't tell for sure what's goiong on in your system. :)
You must open the task manager when the CPU usage is on 100% and check on the process list the exe with the high CPU usage.
If you want to check the LCD Smartie you can remove the Speedfan dll reference from your configuration and leave the Speedfan running and also the LCD Smartie running.

Please provide more info about it.
As far as I know there is no known bug with the Speedfan plugin.

Speedfan and LCDSmartie

I cannot attest to specific issues with Speedfan, but I do know that it appears Speedfan causes problems with parallel port displays using Port95NT.exe:
