The need for PHPBB2

Hey all, I'm back for the millionth time

I think since you have fired up PHPNuke for the main site, it is worth going to phpbb2, invision or vB (phpbb2 preferably). A few reasons:

• -> CAPTCHA images - block spambots
  -> Security updates - I'm not the hacking kind of person, but I have done a bit of the legit kind in my time. I can tell you right now this forum is riddled with holes. If someone ever became disgruntled it would be incredibly easy to take this site down.

There are more, but I've forgotten them. Upgrading isn't too difficult either, there should be some upgrade scripts somewhere. (Just make sure you do a backup + DB dump first)

Kudos on taking up LCDSmartie again! Viva la Revolution!

The current forum is the latest version released by phpbb and it has nothing to do with phpnuke on lcdsmartie.org. I need to find a little time to start working on that portal too.

Just one other quick note, there is a potential XSS hole in the portal. You need it to stop echo-ing the name of the module.
