problem with warnif

i have a small problem using the warnif plugin

I want to use use this:
$dll(warnif.dll,3,$NetIPaddress/127.0.0.1,OFFLINE)

which SHOULD show when in offline because my IP changes to 127.0.0.1 when i disconnect. However, when i try testing this, LCD Smartie freezes and i have to close it and remove the line from the config.ini file

Why does LCD Smartie freeze when i try this?

I can't say for sure....
The warnif should exit its function after if the data not retrieved.
are you sure that smartie can get the new IP value succesfully while disconnecting?

try to use the $NetIPaddress without the warnif
alternative I suggest to use the search and replace plugin to replace the 127.0.0.1 IP with your text.

in any case I like to follow this issue....

I am getting the same probelm with a lot more plugins like HoldnScroll, Animate, Splitat, Split Title and yahoo Weather Plugins!

I have win XP SP2 and Version 5.3.3.18 LCD Smartie if that helps.
Also, im not an admin - would that make a differance?

LCS Smartie can run flawless under a user account... As far I can remember
