Analog Clock Plugin

Post by nsa666666 »

I found some time to develop an Analog Clock Plugin.

So here is it:

CHANGELOG
=======

0.2 Alpha
-Small design changes

0.1 Alpha
-Initial release

INSTALLATION:
=============

Copy the clockpg.dll in plugin folder of lcd smartie.
Be sure that .NET Framework 2.0 is installed on your system.

USE
===

Please use following syntax:

$dll(clockpg,1,[size],[style])
$dll(clockpg,2,[line number],[size])
...
size is given in chars.
style can be "style1" or "style2"

for example:

$dll(clockpg,1,4,style1)
$dll(clockpg,2,2,4)

NOTE
====

-all custom chars used.
-can NOT(!) be used together with picture plugin!

Download:

Great plugin
waiting for more styles (I know You can do it :smt048)
You 're our man! keep on.
please correct the above to be "style1" ... to avoid problems if somebody tries to copy and paste the example :wink:

Thanks! Good job! It looks a bit oblong on my display, but I can deal with it.

Maybe if you make it a couple pixels narower it will look better. I'm not whinin', I'm just sayin' is all.

It works great though!

@limbo: thank you! I've corrected that.

@Dirkus: You can try the new version, it should be a bit narrower. :)

Analogue Clock on Crystalfontz

Post by HartleyC »

Firstly, this is a great plugin, good job.

A minor note, on my Crystalfontz 631 (as with a few plugins to be honest) there are gaps in the characters - think most LCDs must be 8x5? Crystalfontz uses 8x6 gapless.

This plugin is using the custom characters of the LCD.
This means that only 8 characters are available for creating "graphics" on the display.

So maximum available squares are 8 not even 3x3=9 :?
