I want to help write some docs

I've used lcdSmartie on a couple of occasions, back when I was messing with palm-orb trying to save cash on a screen and over the last few days with my new 20x4 VFD.
Now I really do like the software and I've found a lot of the info I needed through these forums, but some better docs on creating screens and what lcdSmartie is capable of out of the box would have been handy, so...
I'm offering to write some, and hopefully learn more myself along the way.

I've never written docs before, but I have wanted to get involved in "giving something back" type doc writing for a while and this seems like the right size of project to do as a first run.

So my big question is...

What would you have liked to have been better documented when you first started using lcdSmartie?
