LCDSmartie to display multiple instances of winamp info

Not sure if this is the spot to post this.

I currently have a music server distributing audio to multiple zones in my house via multiple instances of Winamp. These instances are controlled by Xlobby. Since this is only a server, except for if I connect to it through a Xlobby client, or by VNC, I don't have a quick way of monitoring what the different zones are doing.

What I was thinking of doing was adding a VFD and use LCDSmartie, since it already has Winamp information configured, but it would appear to only be able to do a single instance.

I've entered a request on Sourceforge, but was wondering if displaying information from multiple instances of winamp is possible by maybe setting up themes? If anyone has done this, either by themes or some other way, could you lend a hand and help put me on the proper path as to how to do this?

I don't think Smartie has any way of distinguishing between instances of Winamp (I guess it's not so common to run more than 1 instance?!).

Perhaps there is a Smartie plugin for xlobby (or one could be developed) that can give the info you need instead of trying to get info direct from Winamp.

I don't use or know anything about xlobby, so can't help with plugins...

Yeah, there is a plugin for Xlobby, but I'm not sure if it will do this either. I just figured that if possible, it would be easier to get the info direct from LCDsmartie.

Thanks for the response. Maybe something like this could be implemented in a future release. With a check box to distinguish whether one instance is to be used or multiple instances.

Would be pretty cool to say the least.
