Analog Clock plugin?
Since there are only 8 custom charachters it would probably be limited to a two-line graphic. Since it would be pretty small at 2 lines, it could probably be done with just 6 custom charachters, leaving 2 for the user to play with. It most certainly would not be a very accurate timepeice as there are only a few ways to display a clock hand at that size, but it would provide the ability to glance at the clock and see if it's close to the half-hour, quarter-till or whatever. There's an example of what I imagine it would look like here. Thanks!

I would definatly want one of those!
Especially if I can use it for more than TIME stuff... Like have it display harddrive info, CPU-info, temprature, etc etc... But not have it display these directly from the plug-in, but I can choose what other plug-in or function to display (similar to the %-stuff already in LCDSmartie). So it becomes just another type of display.
THAT would be interesting...
Of course, even more interesting if I can put one screen with ONLY these analogue "clocks", so I can show several different values with these neat things. Would be cool.
