I could not find it at this forum. When I use Winamp title info the text is scrambled when Winamp is set at 'Scroll title in the Windows taskbar'. Is this a known problem? Can it be fixed?
Thanx!
Timo

Probably not,
cause the program retrieves the song title from winamp title which is changing when you have enabled this function.
The only resolution I can give you is to use a plugin for winamp. Then you can use the read text function to get the title instead the build in winamp title function.

What Smartie sees as the Winamp track info is basically what Winamp shows in its title bar (or taskbar title) so yes, Smartie will display scrambled info or the text will jump about randomly.
Smartie checks the title info from Winamp a few times a second and tries to display whatever Winamp reports, and of course the Winamp and Smartie refresh rates are pretty much guaranteed to be out of sync...
You can either use an alternative method of getting the Winamp title info as Limbo said, or simply disable the scrolling title in Winamp as I did when I started using an LCD and Smartie. If you have the info on an LCD on your desk or somewhere it's not really necessary to scroll it in the taskbar.
