Request for support 4x60 or 4x96 special for palmorb

Post by Artosoft »

Hi Chris,

After success mod palmorb v1.1a4 to 4x40 (on palm display 8x20), I am greedy for some special like:
1. 4x60 (on palm display 12x20), which is good with bold 7x11 font, or
2. 4x96 (on palm display 16x24), which is good with standard 5x8 font.

If you can make lcd-smartie to support that resolution, I will try to make palmorb to display that resolution. I hope not much to coding in lcd-smartie, since all based on 4 lines display.

I still prefer lcd-smartie to feed palmorb than lcdproc (mostly because I am running windows, not linux).

Regards,
Arto.

Sorry for bumping such an old topic, but I'm quite interested in it, as I've got a Palm IIIc that's just gathering dust...

I'm new to LCD Smartie, but as anything been done about the possibility for larger Displays ? :)

Thanks

[Edit]
Indeed, my old Vx seems actually dead :(

I happen to own a Palm IIIc also and would like to make it usefull (don't need that old PDA anymore ;)

If this support could come to life it would really make my day :)
