Help a noob?

Post by slothmeister »

Hi guys, just finished setting up my media center and have read a bit about using LCD Smartie to get the most from the VFD.

However i am not having a lot of luck setting it up, all i have done is downloaded the main program itself, have not downloaded any plugins or any other drivers. It seems that it's not even recognising that i have a VFD.

Any ideas?

The driver selection is not automated.
So you have to select manually the driver under the display settings pane.

Of course you must select the driver that fits to your VFD type, connection type and connection settings.

If you have more questions about it search the forums using the VFD type as keyword or add a post here requesting more help.
