Variable shutdown message

LCD Smartie is great! I use it with the BTV plugin on my HTPC to display my upcoming recordings.

I see that I can specify a text message on shutdown, and it is displayed when I put the PC into standby mode or power it off. But I'd really like it to display the next program to be recorded. I'd like to put in something like

$dll(BTVSmartie,1,recnext#1,title)

like I do in one of the screens. But instead it just displays this literally. Or if I could just have it shutdown use one of the existing screens.

Is there a way to do that?

Only static messages are possible in 5.4 it seems. I raised this in this post and it will not be forthcoming:

I am currently staying on 5.3 with my custom iMON driver as this allows the "next recording" to be displayed in standby.
