Hi
just got a Antec Fusion Black case, which I think has an Imon VFD. At start up it runs a VFD app, and all is fine. However, I wanted to try LCD Smartie, so after closing the VFD app, I run Smartie and set the display plugin to Imon.dll and give it the path (where the dll is located).
However, LCD smartie doesn't activate the LCD. I don't get any error messages. The above post mention something about frontview, but I haven't got access to that in the software that was supplied, just the VFD app.
Any guesses. Bit of a newb as you can guess !
I'm running vista home premium

I have the exact same problem, Antec black case but running xp mce. I have tried with antec software off and on and uninstalled (copied the SP_VDF.dll).mattyduk wrote:Hi

Nothing works.
It's really annoying since the included software is really crappy, hangs if i press the remote to many times in a row and sometimes just hangs for no reason.

yeah, agreed. Hopefully someone on this forum will be able to help us.
As for the VFD hanging (I also had a problem sometimes when the time would overlay every 3 seconds over the scrolling info), I thought it might have something to do with it starting the app as Vista was still loading (i.e it was running directly at startup).
So I removed the VFD from the startup (in the registry), then wrote a delphi app which waits for 60 seconds after Vista has booted, then runs the VFD. So far it seems ok. The PC was on all night continually checking email via the VFD, and it's fine this morning, but might be a coincidence.
Still, it would be much nicer to get LCD Smartie working
