my vfd is dead please help
i have an lc10 with a 16x2 vfd its always been trouble and now its dead i would like to replace it with something thats more reliable than the original. ive been reading about some of the diy displays but its going to take more time then i have right now. the window for the vfd is the size of a floppy im looking for something that will be bright enough to be seen through the dark window either serial or usb is preffered and i dont care if it does ir. i dont mind making a bracket or whatever small work that would need to be done but i cant seem to find anything close to what i need. anyone have one to sell like this? id hate to buy a new case this one is less than 6 months old. any help, links or info is appreciated.
