Disabling IR and startup mode messages

Hello :O)

I am happy to find LCD smartie.
Since I have Antec Fusion 430 which freezes on almost every IR signal it senses, I wonder how can I disable this functionality in LCD smartie.

Another thing is that I get all these mail,News and Sysinfo messages when I startup LCD smartie, And I want it just to show tracks that are played in winamp which I've already configured on the winamp tab.
How do I disable these messages ?

Do you use the IR function at all? if not, easiest solution... electrical tape, cover the sensor over.

The screens you can add/remove whatever you want (within reason) in LCDS configuration, again, the easy way, remove the check mark in the "enabled" box.

The thing is that I don't want to mess with the case...Just disable the IR completly through software if possible.
I managed to make the LCDS to display only winamp media info, But when the LCDS starts, There is a "0" on the display. Can it be disabled ?

Sorry to inform you that I got a bit dissapointed that I couldn't get the volume knob to work with LCDS.....
Maybe on my next HTPC :O)
