Possible to use graphic LCD?

Post by uzumaki »

I picked up a graphic LCD 128x64 blue and white display with Samsung KS0107/KS0108 controller. There is an LCD that matches this at Crystalfontz site but I'd like to wire it up as parallel which isn't supported by their software.

If LCDSmartie doesn't support graphic LCD via parallel (or any form), can anyone suggest a free software that is as flexible as LCDSmartie and works with this LCD? It's going to replace my aging 20x4 display with burned out EL and I wanted to have it display things like netstats, PC status, weather, etc.

TIA

Ceasar (I believe) worked on a microcontroller that would interface LCDSmartie to a graphic LCD. I do not remember what lcd chipset it supports though.

Hi! I have same (based on KS0108) LCD. Is it still unsupported by LCDSmartie?
