No idea, read the palmorb doumentation and see if it should be seen as a virtual com port or anything else.

Also see the matrix orbital output plugin documentation, I believe you should set it as simply USB in smartie and it should work.

So let me get this straight. Your saying even though my pc doesnt reconise the palm (aka cant even see it to sync) it should still work? cause when i try it says no palm found. and on my laptop XP. it says palm found but make sure its running palmorb and it is :S

So you are saying that on the laptop it works or just that on the laptop the palm is recognized but it still doesn't work with smartie?

So did it work on the laptop?
This only means that palmorb is setup correctly - we will make sure that it will never ever work on the laptop, ok? Chill!

If it works on XP and not on Vista even if you copy the entire Smartie folder from XP to Vista then that means that palmorb will not work in Vista.
Vista was not around when palmorb was developed.

After looking into it, i can say that:
- Palm software must be installed in windows (maybe run as administrator too)
- you must run smartie as administrator
- use matrix.dll with USB as startup parameter
