ok.... You still speaking english!lucas_siglo21 wrote:it says TTL, you will have to convert that to RS232 levels, you will probably have to use a max232 IC to convert levels.
the manual should have pinout of those headers.
I will have a look at manual more today.
I really want to try install the drivers again, so i might install vista on another HDD in spare marchine and install drivers again. I will try another cable if i can find one, but i don't think it will be that. Can also try tho.
I am currently working on getting windows 7 install too. So i am skipping between projects. But a working screen would be better than windows 7 installed.
Thanks a lot

Ok, just with the floppy cable pluged in. There isn't anything on screen or lights up, but there isn't any ticking either.caesar wrote:Could you plug in just the floppy cable without the USB cable and report back?robyholmes wrote: I am not using a floppy cable. I am only using the USB, the past user i got it off from ebay gave me a floppy cable with it, custom made for the device, sleathed and shit.

As far I can remember the floppy connector on the Matrix Orbital has reversed the possitive and the negative pinout.robyholmes wrote:Ok, just with the floppy cable pluged in. There isn't anything on screen or lights up, but there isn't any ticking either.
But I suggest you the following:
If you want hardware help (I mean in low level starting up the device and connecting the hardware) you can try the manufacturer's forums. Matrix Orbital can give you the best answers about it.
Its too strange that the LCD module doesn't startup at all...
