Hello
The computer freezes reset for reboot
Computer spec : Dell Poweredge 2600 bi xeon 2.80Ghz FSB 533
1 g ram ECC windows server 2003 SP2 only windows installed and
LCD Smartie 5.4, display ODT (HD44780 compatible) parallel port
no other problem.
I will do tests with LCDSmartie Tricolor.
Thanks
Thierry

Hello
Here are the results of my test
LCDSmartie 5.4 freeze after 5 mns
LCDSmartie 5.41 freeze after 5 mns
LCDSmartie 5.5 Freeze after 5 mns
but with LCDSmartie 5.3 NO PROBLEM
the problem comes from the HD44780.dll, because with the 5.3 the
parallel port use the DriverLINX.
and more in the bios Dell Poweredge it is impossible to choose
EPP/ECC parallel port, just AT or PS2.
Thanks
Thierry
