Controlling multiple displays with LCD Smartie?
Hiya all! I just wanted to ask a (maybe) simple question. Can I use LCD Smartie to control multiple LCD displays? I am planning to connects via USB (with help from this adapter), and it might complicate further that I am running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista.

You can run multiple independent instances of Smartie to control 2 or more displays. For example, I have 2 serial (COM) connected LCDs with 2 instances of Smartie displaying different info on each display.
There's also a trick to use two parallel (LPT) connected displays of up to 4x20 each in one Smartie, by telling Smartie you have a 4x40 LCD. This requires some careful screen design though.
