i just got an 4x20 usb lcd and started playing with configs and plugins.
I thought that this is an open source cummunity ... but no one is posting sources alot of the plugins are dead because no one bothered to post the source.
why no one is shareing ?
I've posted about this before since I feel the same. I've tried to provide source and info with my plugins/drivers and some authors have posted their source on the forum which is great, but many plugins have only appeared as a binary with very little info on usage etc.
I appreciate that people are programming in a variety of languages under different compilers, but it's very useful to have some source code to adapt and learn from when developing your own.
alot of the plugins are dead because no one bothered to post the source.
