It works fine, apart from the tails on letters such as p, g etc get cut off.
Is there a way to change the font in LCD smartie, or is it the LCD default or?

Character tails cut off?
Hi, I have an Arduino running a 20x4 LCD.
It works fine, apart from the tails on letters such as p, g etc get cut off.
Is there a way to change the font in LCD smartie, or is it the LCD default or?

What type of lcd is that?
Looks like pure dot matrix HD44780 compatible, the font is not changeable, it's a lcd problem. You should get it replaced from where you bought it.
The chars are hardcoded in the controller chip.
Alternatively look into the datasheet, maybe they can be defined if it's another type of controller chip on the LCD.
