Always start hidden

Post by abeprivate30 »

My problem is pretty petty but it's annoying to me. I hope this is the proper place to ask for help. No matter how I configure LCD Smartie 5.4.1 to start, autostart, autostart hidden or checked always start hidden it keeps jumping back from my notification area on the bottom right to the taskbar at the bottom of my screen. This is in Windows XP. I have tried about every combination I can think of including delaying the start of LCD Smartie in case thats what was causing it. Sometimes I have had success limiting it to the notification area but after the screensaver has popped up and I move my mouse to kill the screensaver LCD Smartie is back in my taskbar again. Do others have this same condition? Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks for any help you can give.

It is a real strange deal. Sometimes it will start hidden but then after time it shows up again in the task bar at the bottom of the screen. Its seems, but I dont know for sure, to occur after the computer has gone into screen saver mode. The only other app running is Webroot Spysweeper. Most times now it starts showing in the task bar even though I have checked 'start hidden' after I maximize it to my desktop and click 'hide' it stays hidden for a while but eventually pops back onto my taskbar. Like I said its a pretty petty problem just kind of annoying that I cant figure out how to keep it hidden. Maybe it has something to do with the crystal.dll or something.
