Hi guys I just wanted to know if I can get http://cgi.ebay.ca/16x2-LCD-Module-Whit ... 3359668a7b this screen to work with USB and if there are how-tos for how to do it on USB. If I can't do it USB then parralle will work but I can't seam to find any how-tos on that. Can someone please help me?

There's quite a bit of info buried in the forum, so do a search or browse the hardware section.
That's a standard LCD so you can connect it to a parallel port by following the wiring on the Smartie site: http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/circuits.htm Use the first (top) diagram for your LCD. All you need is some cable (you can cut up an old printer cable) and a 5V power source (eg spare disk drive connector).
You should be able to set your Smartie display driver to HD44780 and the port to LPT1. Some PCs seem to have problems communicating with the LCD on a parallel port. You can try the different port setting in your BIOS (ECP/EPP/SPP) if you have problems.
