Hi guys I bought a LCD from ebay works awsome plugs in to a internal or external USB the only problem I have is when it starts up it displays the message form sure electronics that came from the factory. You probably cannot change the startup message - this is probably hard-coded into the display firmware.
Have a look at the commands in the display manual - if it says anything about changing the startup message you may be in luck... if not, you're stuck with seeing the default message until Smartie starts up and writes to the display.
