I've uploaded a little how to on my website about how to solder a character lcd screen (powerstrip, crystalfontz) on a parralelport to a pc. Everything controlled with LCD Smartie. I added some printscreens, pictures and a download link of my lcd smartie configuration so you don't have to do anything
