cant get this to work on w7 x64

Hello wondering if someone can give us some guid i have the smartie with the black face plate from ebay with the small cd.If i use the Lcd module diagnostic program 1.10 to connet to it,it seems to work i am using the usb pin on mb if i use crystal in smartie program i get "failed to open device dll intialize error what am i doing wrong ?

Try and find the correct com port setting of your display. (initialize error)
You can find it in device manager > Ports (COM & LPT)
