Is it possible to delete that message ? If i send my htpc into standby the "goodbye" message always is freezing on the display.
Is that an known issue ? What can i do against that behaviour ?
I use LCD Smartie 5.3 and that 2 x16 VFD of Silverstone LC10M.
That plugin really rocks !

Any other message (like "goodbye") must be caused from other source.
Maybe your display μC has build in a shutdown message.
In order to remove this you have to tweak your display (if vendor supports such command)
In addition you can try to set a message in LCD Smartie and check if it possile to override your "goodbye" display message.

in my case only first row shows other three rows is frozen from current state, display is 4x20
