I first want to apologize for my English
ok, my situation is:
-Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bits
-Net framework 4.0
-LCDsmartie latest version (5.4)
-HD44780
worth noting that I'm controlling the LCD via USB thanks to arduino all aspects of the lcd are fine but when configuring my email accounts (hotmail and gmail) does not work because I get "Error conecting with SSL"
I have them configured as follows:
Server: pop.gmail.com
SSL: 995
loginname: ********gmail.com
Password: ********
Server: pop3.live.com
SSL: 995
loginname: ******hotmail.com
Password: ******
but no way for me to show any value ... I have hotmail configured to "accept" pop ... but there is not none of them work for me
thanks

I've love to be able to offer a solution, but I've never been able to get gmail pop3 working either...

Re: Problems with Email
I don't think I got hotmail to work either, but it was a while ago that I tried it. My LCD setup is in storage at the moment so I can't check this for a while...
I never figured if it was an issue with Smartie, the openssl system or what.
I have GMail SSL access though mail programs like Thunderbird, but never got it to work in Smartie.
