glk19264 - how to make it work

Post by agpatel »

Hello,

I am new to the LCD screen deal and got a matrix orbital glk19264 for my PC (running windows 7 64 bit) and and would like to know how to get lcd smartie to work on it. I cant get it to display anything readable. I have the matrxi.dll selected and com3 (which is what the usb has been virtual to per the device manager) and bond rate at 19200 (which is what i set it to). Are there any other settings to get it to work or a new .dll config file need to be used. Anyone get a GLK screen screen to work.

Any help would be appreciated greatly thanks!

Graphical LCDs like this are not supported (at least) officially by LCD Smartie. :(

So do they unofficially work at all? I'm trying to decide between a GLK19264 and a LK204

"unofficially" means coding and debugging knowledge not provided by this forum. I think that Caesar was able to drive graphical LCD's in the past. From my point of view if you intent to use LCD Smartie stay in character based modules.
