Lcd2usb premade kits (pre assembled)

Post by Nessuno »

Disclaimer: I dont have any stock or other ties to this company, but they sell a hell of a product when it comes to usb2lcd
And i just wanted to share my experience with ppl on this forum since i could not find a topic about hardware resellers of this kind.
If by anychance this is not alowd please remove the post.

Bought one http://www.lcdmodkit.com/lcd/U204FR-A2.html Imageto see whats up
And currently using it with lcdsmarty, works like a charm and connects true the onboard usb header nothing extra needed (hardware wise)
And tbh i dont think that i could get one cheaper than this in the Netherlands (28euro inc shipping)

For that 28€ u get one lcd pre assembled in a 5 .1/4 bracket.
Usb bridge presolderd 2x side mounting brackets and a plastic cover film so that the front looks smooth!
Installation is a piece of cake.

Shipping is decent.

Takes about 7 days to the Nehterlands from Hongkong.
No extra costs!

They also sell just the usb conversion board and lots of dif displays and a variety of other stuff wich u might need!

Maybe pre-assebled is the best way to buy Lcd2usb.
I still have one of these modules on the drawer. Never got it to work with a 4x40 LCD screen :(.

I bought this one for 19.99 a year and a half ago -> http://www.sureelectronics.net/goods.php?id=964

Comparing the prices, the LCD2USB is pretty expensive but comparing the assets, LCD2USB has a great advantage to be easily fitted in a desktop case if you need to (mine is being used naked to this day).

Right now I am looking for a LCD kit having RGB LEDs like this one -> https://www.adafruit.com/products/498
