Hi all.
I am trying to use the winamp spectrum analyser plugin. I ve done everything. Both dlls are were they are supposed to be i renamed the .ini files. When lcd smartie starts the plugin works. it shows song name, length current position, BUT no graphs ( i do start the plugin in winamp ).
I ve set the numbers to the right ( i think ) values, 5 for dll check interval and 12 for refresh interval ( i even tried other values for that as well ) but still no graphs. In winamp when i choose the test instead of lcd spectrum analyser and push start i get a graph but when i choose lcd spectrum analyser, the lcd stays blank.
I m running winamp 5.572 and lcd smartie 5.4 on win7 with a 4x20 lcd disp. The commands i use to get the complete emptiness are :
$dll(winamp,1,4x20,0)
$dll(winamp,2,4x20,0)
$dll(winamp,3,4x20,0)
$dll(winamp,4,4x20,0)
Any suggestions?

Re: Winamp plugin
According to http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/winampplugin.html you should only specify the screen size (4x20 for you) in function 1 (ie the first/top line). The remaining lines you specify 0 instead. That might be the problem... I don't know for sure because it's a long time since I tried the spectrum analyzer.

Re: Winamp plugin
The syntax seems to be OK
Be sure that you have already added the winamp plugin to winamp/ plugin directory and set the player auto execute visualization.

Re: Winamp plugin
Hola.
Well i know i do everything as supossed to, because Spectrum works fine on a pc that runs with Xp but runs not on Win 7 64b. Anyway,I m pretty sure theres something going on/not compatible with my OS.

Re: Winamp plugin
Okay, after doing absolutely nothing, it started working. Just like that.
Anyway. Problem solved. I think.
