Unexpected Results
I'm using a HD44780 LCD, everything is wired correctly. When I start LCDSmartie, my display only outputs seemingly random numbers. They transition with the program, but not a single letter will display. Anyone have this happen?

Could be the contrast or backlight. If not you'll need to give a lot more info on your setup to allow someone to help. e.g. how is it connected, what driver are you using, what os? etc.
