pda powered cell phone lcds?

pda powered cell phone lcds?
has anyone been able to use a cell phone lcd that is pal powered on lcd smartie? i have this old smasung model number sph-i300. It says its palm powered. I tried the directions on matrix orbital but that didnt work.

This is becoming a common question. Please see the thread Help with lc7940 LCD.
Smartie does not currently support graphic LCDs, but I do plan on adding support for it soon. The major problem is that there is no "standard" graphic display controller, ESPECIALLY among the tiny displays used in cell phones. In fact, it may be impossible to find datasheets for those LCDs/controllers. Keep in mind that using one may be a very difficult task.
