If you have an HD44780-compatible parallel-controlled VFD display and 64bit windows, please send me a private message so you can test the 64bit compatibility for the port driver.

We are also looking for a beta tester who has a KS0073 based LCD. Once both of these functions have been tested, the current "beta" of Smartie will end and we will begin a very different Smartie; one that will be much easier to develop and extend in the future. But first we need to get these last minute fixes out of the way.

I'm having this KS0073 4x40 white on blue LCD on Smartie 5.3 and all the plugins running. I met some problems wiring it, but it works now. The first row extends on half of the second, and the third and the second rows appear switched on the display. I solved this problem by starting up LCD Hype and turning it off after the first screen in Smartie appears.
The bar indicators(CPU, RAM, etc.) aren't displayed correctly on my display, so I don't use them.
It would be nice if you can develop a plugin for this KS0073 based display they say it is perfectly compatible with HD44780, but not quite. Sorry for my english. Regards!
