Gmail Help

Hi im trying to get my lcd to make me aware when i have new email's so jumped on the chance to try the new email features in the latest version of LCD smartie with my gmail acc but can only seem to get it to show the total number of emails that i have is there any way around this. Any help will be appreciated

You should check in gmail settings to use pop3 only for mails received from now on.
Hope this helps, works for me.

Edit: the message counter is for all mails still

Im guessing there is no way around this problem will have to see if some one will relase a plugin to get round this thanks for your help

I have a problem using gmail... i've enabled the pop3 in gmail settings, but i still have got 0 mail incoming in my lcd .... maybe i'm missing something in SSL textbox on lcdsmartie config?

SSL port set up correctly? (995)
POP access enabled for all mail?
libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll in Smartie folder?

Anyway, as someone else wrote, there's no so much utility to view the total number of messages, and not only the new.
