Help with my LCD...

I have this one as a external http://www.411techsystems.com/Ebay/Spec ... 4A_dwg.pdf
and it works with lcdcenter20
but I cannot make it works under LCD Smartie... (I`ve tried versions from 5.1 thru 5.3 and even 5.4) it shows me what I have but the screen is disorted, or its scrolling very fast,
I really like lcd smartie, but i cannot use it :/ HEEEEEELP
Lcd is connected by LPT1, powered by USB

What exaclty is the disortortion you mentioning.
Do you see doudle characters?
do you see jumping letters?

a couple differences
small ones - my dont have backlignt dimmer, only contrast,

and the bigger one, RS (pin no 4) from LCD is connected to pin 17 on my schemstics, on the one from LCD smartie RS-4 is connected to pin no 16
im heating up my soldering iron right now

believe it or not, but that was that....
