Antec Fusion case

I have an ANTEC FUSION HTPC case (with Soundgraph Imon vfd).
I dont want to use antec vfd driver and software (imon) because of its poor qualities. Instead everyone suggest me to use LCD Smartie wich is compatible. But all told me it cannot control volume knob as imon soundgraph driver does. Is this thing real? Can you insert this option in future?

LCD Smartie Cannot control the volume ( at least this way)... May a plugin request or a feature request may help you for future addition.
However this is not a priority on the development

Ok

Do you think I could use lcdsmartie to control the display and at the same time the Antec software to control the volume knob?
Or maybe the 2 software (and I think 2 drivers) go in conflict?

I can't be sure.
What is the connection type? Is it serial?
If so you can't access the port though two programs...

internal usb connection (connected to motherboard)

Its a serial then...
You can't use both programs together.
