RSS update speed

Is there a way to have LCD Smartie fetch RSS data at an interval of less than 60 minutes? The frequency variable in the command itself won't allow a value smaller than one hour, and removing the frequency limitation doesn't seem to make it update any faster than that. Is there a config setting or input value that overrides this, or am I stuck with only getting new information once per hour?

...I think that just became irrelevant. After making changes to the RSS backend, I get "[Rss: This operation can not be performed with a Node of type ELEMENT]". The XML formatting and encapsulation of the entries wasn't changed, only the filtering of specific entries from the feed. What gives?
