I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and have a Zalman HD160 case with IRTrans 2X16 VFD. It is a domain machine and my account is an admin. I installed Smartie and can change the display.
I can not get the Perf plugin to do anything. All attempts meet with either [Bad Counter] or [pdhCollectQueryData Failed]. Using the default example from the web page of $dll(perf,1,2x16,myCPU) gives the later. This is exactly what I want, can someone please help?
I saw many posts dealing with various fixes but nothign definative. The author claims to have fixed the aforementioned problems in the announce forum but there is no attachment to his message. I am now using the one on the download page on the main site as of now but it does not wrok. Is this the latest one?
One curiosity is that I moved the files to the Programs Folder and now each time I launch the shortcut for smartie it asks if a=I really want to run this program as if I just downloaded it from the Internet or am loading an install shield. Could this have somethign to do with it? How does one 'install' softwre if one has no install shield.

You must register and login before you can download files from the forum.
The official plugin you downloaded will not work with Vista the errors you are getting are exactly what was fixed.
Also you are not using the plugin correctly. Take a look at:
