CPU use of screens

Post by pluto2 »

Hi!

Does screens consume cpu that isn't presently shown, that is, is plugins polled etc for screens not currently shown on the LCD? or can I safely have lots of screens and switch between them without a heavy cpu load?

The load is too low to even register.

If you want to check just open task manager in windows while Smartie is running.

that's perfectly normal

if you want to see what your cpu does stressed you can try dragging a window, or playing a game.

Also you can try to calculate Pi or do some other cpu benchmark
