Calender reminder

is there any plugin that would read the next event in outlook?
when you open outlook at personal folders you get next event (eg " thursday: meeting 12:00" ) anyway to get that to apper on the lcd?
( i'm running dual boot so i dont mind if its xp or vista or both)
im not wanting to have to add things to a txt file daily to get it to show
