Please vote here is helpful.

I have to say that I must be a minority.
I found LCD Smartie by the Greek edition of Elektor Magazine.

By way of BTVSmartie

Got here by way of 79DieselRabbit's excellent BTVSmartie plugin. Keeps my wife and I from ruining each other's recordings.

I found LCD Smartie in a Yahoo search. I was searching for ways to use some LCD's I have from IBM cash registers and came accross this site. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it was the bit-tech.net forums LCD FAQs thread for me. It may have been somewhere on the crystalfontz site though, I'm not sure.

For my current project i came across an article on QuietPC.co.uk, however, it only reminded me of reading about LCD Smartie in CustomPC magazine a couple of years back.[/url]

Hi!
I was looking for a windows version of LCDProc that only runs on linux, I have been using LCDProc for many years now, but since most of my machines are windows, always wanted to use a windows version.

I found this place googling for a while, and I'm very happy with it :)

Silverstone (PC chassi maker) recommend users to use LCDSmartie together with their VFD display.

Found out about Smartie a long time ago, maybe in 2007 sometime. Have been using it ever since for home automation, at my shop, and so on. I even use it on events to display information on large readouts. Everyone that comes in always asks about it. And I tell them what I do with it and all that it can do. I'm like a walking advert for this program. Everyone that comes over to the house loves what I have done with it in my "NASA" control center (as people call it) computer room. Got it running all my readouts, overhead speaker system for my custom security system, door locks, and so on. By far my favorite plugins are the search and replace, the winamp plugins, hold n scroll, hotkey, and so on. By far the most versatile and modular program around.
