Hello,
I just bought a USB conversion kit for my parallel Ahanix VFD.
Which driver should I use after I convert? imon, right?
The Smartie asks for sg_imon.dll but there's no such thing on the install CD..
There's sg_vfd.sys though.. Is this the same? Should I rename?
Please advise,
Thanks

I have iMon software v.3 and v.7 - no that dll there..
The Smartie works with the imond option (imon needs sg_vfd.dll)
I did find sg_vfd.dll on soundgraph website (SDK package) but didn't test it..
Not sure if it's the same..

I realize this thread is old... but I will provide this info for future reference...
Ahanix makes two different USB conversion kits... One (their MM edition) is iMON compatible, and uses the Soundgraph software. The other (Their Girder Edition) uses a Sasem controller and is not compatible with the Soundgraph software.
The drivers for the MM edition controller is in the iMON distribution and, although it is 50MB of crap, you DO need the iMON software if you want to used the IR receiver that is built into the controller board.
If you plan on only using the VFD and not the IR, then you can install the iMON software, copy the SG_VFD.dll from the installation to your lcdsmartie directory, then uninstall the iMON software...
An older versions of the driver only is available from the Ahanix website at http://www.ahanix.com/files/MM-USBdriver.zip... but you then need to get the SG_VFD.dll elsewhere...
