I just wanted to post a message to let people knwo that I think I've found a bug with either Smartie itself, or the Everest plugin. I have Smartie getting CPU core temps and the amount of CPU time used by the Everest process and then displaying them.
If Smartie starts before Everest does, then Smartie displays "PdhCollectQueryData Failed" for the CPU time used by Everest (which is fair enough, it's not there) and "x" for the CPU core temps.
However, it also increases the amount of RAM used by ~500kB per second that it is running in this state. I found it using 1.41GB RAM this morning, needless to say, the PC was a little sluggish!
Is there an easy way to time when apps start during boot (both Everest and Smartie are set to launch at boot, sometimes Smartie gets there first and causes this bug.
Any comments or help with the startup order appreciated,
Richard

About the failure on the reading values I have to check the source code of the plugin and maybe and an error trap there...
Give me some time ... I'm working on it...
Hopefully this will release the memory (if the everest plugin is the cause for the memory load
, Maybe there is another reason for the memory load such email check, rss feeds or else)
Below you can see your image (picasa doesn't support direct linking of the images
). A better way is to upload it to our forums.
