TiVo status information

Does anyone know any data about the TiVo. What I am looking for is obtaining the upcoming recordings, current turner activities, and if the user is watching a recorded show, downloading anything, etc.
If there already exists a plugin to do this great, otherwise if someone had some details about TiVos I could build one myself.
