Change from kb to MB or GB

Hey guys,

how is it possible to change the value from "$NetSpDownK(9)" to "$NetSpDownM(9)" if the speed is over 1024 kb/s and from "$NetDownM(9)" to "$NetDownG(9)" if the total MB is more than 1024? And later change it back?

edit: And also change the labels behind them. (kb, MB, GB)

Check out the Formatting plugin by JumpinJon. THis has a function to display bytes as KB, MB or GB depending on the size of the bytes value.
