Noob project introduction

Hi all

Introducing myself and my 'project'.

The project will have three 4x20 (serial) lcd's displaying status of 8 HDD's (4 HDD's per display).
These displays will be either side of a central LCD which will display various system info.
Each of pair of 4 HDD's will probably form a RAID 5 array.

So I will be spending a lot of time searching this forum for suitable info on running multiple instances of LCD Smartie.
I have already found a couple of good threads and scripts.
