16x2 Display problem

Hey.

I have problem.

My LPT1 port has address of 378
My wirings are indentical with those here: http://www.icehw.net/article.php?id=104
My unit is working on S6A0069 (it is HD44780 compatible)
I started it and it shows one line of full and one line of blank characters.

Problem is, that I can't display anything via LCD Smartie on it.
I tried port95 with no luck. BIOS is on EPP.

I really have no idea how to make it working

You are using Windows XP or 2000?

For Win Vista, 2k3 or 7 port95nt doesn't work, you need to follow the tutorials on the forums (under vista or 7 threads).

After many hours of fight I dicovered, that my antivirus was blocking my system dir, so that port95 installed, but hadn't started at all.
I discovered that, when I tried to run port95 executable.

xD At least not all problems are with wirings

LCD Smartie is really great program
