I've got an LCD KS0108 SAMSUNG + PIC 18F4550 and I think it is possible to operate with LCd Smarite ,but I am a newbbie and don't know where to start ...
I've been told that the PIC does wonders ,searched the net but not much luck .
If someone very kind could help will be appreciated .

It depends on what is programmed in the PIC.
For reference please see the microchip website. They have nice examples of CDC USB applications that create a virtual serial port that you can use to communicate with LCD Smartie. The display routines must be added by you though.
